The Lelo Company

Can you imagine?  A vibrator that is covered in 18K gold?  Can you imagine it costing over $10,000?  $10,000 for a vibrator...who would pay that?  Well, for the majority of us there are other things we would be spending $10,000 on, but for the elite there is nothing more pleasurable.  Lelo.com supplies not only female toys but male toys as well.  If you have ever been in a sex toy store and not giggled then you aren't human.  The toys out there can and do look silly as well as be a little intimidating for men.  Lelo takes that away.  The smooth shape and sleek design are welcome.  None of the Lelo toys take batteries.  Depending on the toy they can charge for one to two hours with three to four hours of pleasure.

I know I do not have $10,000 to spend on a vibrator, but Lelo does supply reasonably priced toys (they aren't 18K gold plated though).  They have prices ranging from about $45 to $200 on Lelo.com and they come as small as lipstick or as a dual action to stimulate both the g-spot and clit.  The all come in their own gift box with charger, warranty, and yes instruction booklet.  I know if I pay that much I want to make sure I am getting the very most out of it!  They have also come out with accessories such as a silk blind fold, silk cuffs and silk chained cuffs that you can clip hook together.  I have been thinking about getting one of the less expensive ones.  I heard once you try them you never go back.

Check out deviantminds-toystore.com and search for "lelo".  You will find about 32 different items ranging from $40 to $5,000.  Of course the $5,000 one really is gold!

Fetish #1-BDSM

The Urban Dictionary defines this as: an overlapping abbreviation of Bondage and Discipline (BD),  Dominance and Submission (DS), and Sadism and Masochism (SM).

Today's fetish is just that...BDSM...The pleasure of the right kind of pain.  So, what to bring to the 'table'?  Chains, whips, gags, leather, paddles, clamps, cuffs, or anything else you would like to use to bring pain.

What is it?
It's impossible to go into any of the other fetishes with out first talking about the one that started it all, BDSM.  And all you can really do is touch on it.  If you wanted to really get into the intricacies with out involving several volumes on a sturdy shelf and maybe a couple of volunteers in leather.  BDSM may not have been the first fetish but it goes back...way back and had some influence on everything since.  Since the spectrum of BDSM can go go from being on top to the most extreme everyone (believe it or not) has done some degree of BDSM.
You have most likely seen some kind of BDSM on TV or in the movies.  It often involves leather, bindings, cuffs, whips, or chains, but it doesn't need to.  It can be as simple as one naked person treating another naked person very poorly physically or psychologically.  It can also be much more complicated, but remember the one person is not actually being treated poorly.  In a sense BDSM is very complicated.

Considerations
The most important thing to remember is ANY BDSM play is that the safety and comfort for you and your partner are paramount.  BDSM might look dark and dangerous, but actually it is (or should be) consensual play between two people who love each other.  BDSM does not mean you torture your partner, both parties need to be on board.  Long term harm or death are not the outcome of these situations.  Most couples, or groups, have a safe word they use.  You could call out 'banana' and your partner would know to stop whatever they are doing because you feel uncomfortable.  It would be good to decide on the word before you start playing.

Please stay tuned for the next fetish next week...Telephone Scatalogia (or Telephonicophilia)...yeah I know...

Sleeping Beauty

Now, I am not a professional book reviewer by any means but I have read and re-read these books many times and since this is for an adult website what better book to talk about!

Sleeping Beauty by A.N. Roquelaure

I love this trilogy, many do not and if you go on Amazon to order and read the reviews people are divided.  So no, this is nothing near the loving Disney story of faeries, this is about sex, sex, and sex.  There is nothing plausible in this...it's fiction!  When I first read the series I was around 21.  I thought I knew a lot about sex, but after reading this...well, let's say my eyes were opened.  I know this is a story and that's fine with me because it's all entertainment, but deep down there's a part of me that might be up for being the dominate Stable Master or the submissive pony.  I think the book also shows that the Stable Master and pony switch roles on the D/s side, it's really all a power play.  I think the only reference to Sleeping Beauty is at the beginning when the prince wakes her and her family from her sleep, then it's off on all the 'adventures'.  Not to spoil it, but in the end Beauty gets her prince and it shows how being honest with your partner can bring you closer in a lot of ways.

When it comes down to it and you just don't know if you want to read the book go to a book store pick up the first one and sit in the designated area.  Read a few pages from the middle, if they don't grab you try a different chapter, if you find you don't like it then don't but it.  If you do read a whole chapter, if you still like it then buy it and take it home and go from there.  Just don't not go out and pick it up because others gave it a bad review.  You might find you disagree!
